Together, you'll ensure that every working day is a success. What will you be doing as a senior service assistant/floor manager at Garnwerd aan Zee? You're the person with a bird's-eye view who ensures that guests are looked after down to the last detail, that their glasses are always full, and that you're the first on the scene when a table needs clearing. You're confident and sociable, and your enthusiasm enables you to provide guests with the best possible service. As well as keeping things under control on the floor, you'll work with the team of runners to ensure everything runs like clockwork. When carrying out this work, it is important that you are the one who 'sees what needs to be done'. Drawing on this strength, you will eventually be able to lead your colleagues to ensure, together, that your team makes another successful day of it. It is important that you have a good grasp of all aspects of the business. The role requires you to be flexible and able to step in wherever needed during busy periods. This includes working the floor, managing the kitchen and manning the bar. This will enable you to assess how the day is going and ensure the team performs to the best of its ability.
