Vacancy: Researcher in Materials & Corrosion Full-Time Position (32-40 Hours) Start Date: As Soon as Possible About the Role As a researcher, you will lead and coordinate applied scientific research, contract research, and consultancy activities in the fields of corrosion, materials performance, and material protection. Your work will focus on the evaluation of materials and protective systems, as well as failure analysis and corrosion investigations of materials, structures, and installations operating in both marine and on-shore environments. This is a challenging and rewarding role for professionals who are driven to understand why materials and structures fail prematurely and how such failures can be prevented. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and reporting research projects and consultancy assignments for customers, including laboratory testing, field measurements, inspections, and root-cause analyses. Based on your findings, you will develop practical recommendations to improve material performance, durability, and asset integrity.
