Do you enjoy working on diseases that pose a threat to the entire global population? And would you like to contribute to solutions applicable to humans through sound biomedical research? Then you might be the research analyst we are looking for. Our research focuses on the liver stages of the malaria parasite. Using advanced cell culture models and studies in non-human primates, we investigate how parasite development in the liver can be halted before it causes disease in the bloodstream. This knowledge contributes to the development of new vaccines and therapies against malaria. What will you do? As a Research Analyst, you will be part of a multidisciplinary research team and contribute to innovative projects in malaria immunity and vaccine development. Your responsibilities will include: • Working with malaria-infected mosquitoes and conducting mosquito-related experiments; • Supporting and participating in vaccination and infection studies in non-human primates; • Isolating, culturing, and maintaining liver cells and malaria parasites; • Performing cell biological, immunological, and parasitological techniques; • Processing, analyzing, and documenting research data; • Ensuring the accurate execution of experiments in accordance with established protocols and quality standards; • Actively contributing to a positive and effective collaboration within the research team.
