We are looking for a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer (QC/QA) to join our Workshop team, consisting of 50 professionals, working on all Wärtsilä Engines and Propulsion equipment. This is a position is to be based in Schiedam, the Netherlands. What will you be doing? As a QC/QAEngineer you are responsible to create and manage the conditions that the overhauls and repairs in the propulsion workshops are carried out to the Wartsila standards and in line with requirements from the Classification Societies. The QC/QA activities requires a high level of autonomy that will be supported by the workshop managers, team leaders and coordinators managing the customer orders and projects. In this role, your work will include all quality related topics within a workshop environment.
