Die-Cutting Operator
As soon as our printers have printed a lovely design onto the cardboard sheets, you can get started!
Location | Oss Employment status | full-time Working hours | two-shift system
Your role
As a Die-Cutting Operator, you are responsible for the entire production process on our BOBST (separating) die-cutting machines. As an operator, you ensure that production data is accurately recorded and documented. You also carry out continuous quality checks; thanks to your eye for detail, the Cardboard Packaging department can work efficiently!
When new cardboard sheets are ready to be die-cut, you will set up the die-cutting machine and adjust it correctly. Adjusting the die-cutting plate requires precision down to a thousandth of a millimetre, so as an operator you need a very keen eye! You regularly check the cut and crease lines on the die-cut sheets. And if there's even the slightest deviation, you keep making adjustments until the packaging is perfect before it goes to the folding and gluing machine.
Your profile
As you'll be setting up machines, you'll need technical know-how. And if a machine breaks down, you'll take the initiative to sort it out. You won't mind helping your colleagues, tidying up and cleaning. And, of course, we think it's important to have a friendly chat now and then, and that you can get into the swing of things with the music that's always playing in the background. You are in good physical condition. It isn't heavy work, but you will spend the whole shift standing and walking.
