Amaryllis is the organisation responsible for social work and welfare in the municipality of Leeuwarden. Together with around 275 staff members, 115 volunteers and over 50 trainees, we work every day to create a society in which residents can participate, look after themselves and support one another. Our organisation is undergoing significant development. In 2024, a new organisational structure was introduced, under which team leaders are managed by two managers: a Manager for Municipality-wide Teams and a Manager for Social Neighbourhood and Village Teams. Over the past period, we have further refined this structure, and it has become clear how we can support our organisation even more effectively. We are now entering the next phase: continuing to build a strong, future-proof organisation. That is why we are looking for a Manager of Social Neighbourhood and Village Teams: a unifying leader who, together with colleagues, will guide the further development of Amaryllis and contribute to contemporary, high-quality and data-driven social work. What will you do? As Manager of the Social Neighbourhood and Village Teams, you are responsible for ensuring access to Amaryllis's services within the municipality of Leeuwarden. You will directly manage four team leaders, each of whom oversees their own area. An area often consists of several social neighbourhood or village teams.
