As a Lead Software Engineer at Acture, you will be the Team Lead for 36 Software Engineers while continuing to contribute directly to our Acture platform. You will: - Hold 1on1s and feedback meetings, and push the professional and personal growth of our Software Engineers; - Conduct technical interviews with job applicants, make hiring decisions and onboard new Engineers to the Acture team; - Be the technical sparring partner in the Engineering team, review code and do pair programming sessions; - Participate in making architectural decisions for the Acture platform; - Develop new features for the Acture platform, both for the back-end and the front-end; - Work directly with our VP Engineering to discuss new features and actively shape the user experience; - Test and QA features before deployment; - Work with our tech stack: Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Capybara, PostgreSQL, JavaScript and Tailwind CSS; - Fix bugs and maintain an efficient and sustainable codebase Why us?
