As Enterprise Architect, you shape the future of our digital landscape, ensuring technology choices support business strategy, operational excellence, and long‑term sustainability.
Your role in the story:
As an Enterprise Architect, you play a key role in shaping and guiding the evolution of our digital and IT landscape. You ensure that technology decisions support business strategy, operational excellence, and long‑term sustainability.
You operate at the intersection of business and IT, providing architectural guidance, establishing standards, and supporting strategic initiatives. Your role is advisory in nature, with a strong focus on influencing decision‑making, ensuring alignment, and guiding the organisation toward a coherent and sustainable enterprise architecture.
You work closely with senior stakeholders, portfolio and delivery teams, and domain specialists to align business priorities with architectural direction and long‑term technology choices.
What you will be working on:
• Maintaining and evolving a holistic view of the enterprise IT and application landscape and its alignment with business capabilities and processes
• Providing architectural guidance across initiatives, programmes and product developments to ensure consistency, scalability and long‑term sustainability
• Driving early‑stage architectural assessment of initiatives (Intake, Investigate, Definition), ensuring clarity of scope, value and alignment before portfolio approval and delivery
• Supporting early evaluation of new ideas, initiatives and software requests by assessing architectural fit, reuse opportunities and alignment with enterprise standards
• Contributing architectural insight to portfolio planning and investment discussions
• Developing and maintaining architectural principles, standards and reference patterns that support coherent decision‑making
• Supporting the establishment and evolution of architecture governance practices, including review and advisory mechanisms
• Facilitating collaboration between business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy, capabilities and technology
• Driving transparency of the enterprise landscape using architecture repositories and modelling practices
• Supporting application lifecycle thinking, including rationalisation, modernisation and integration strategies
Your future colleagues:
Of course you are curious to meet us as well! In this role, you work closely with senior business stakeholders, IT & Digital leadership, portfolio and delivery teams, and domain specialists across the organisation. You operate in a collaborative environment where architectural insight, dialogue and shared ownership are key to making sustainable decisions.
Is this the job for you?
You are a strategic thinker with a pragmatic mindset. You know how to translate complexity into direction and help organisations make informed decisions without over‑engineering solutions.
You build trust quickly, communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and are comfortable operating in environments where business priorities and technology evolution intersect.
You thrive in advisory roles where influence, alignment and clarity are more important than formal authority.
Key ingredients for success:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, business/IT strategy or complex solution environments
• Experience across multiple architecture domains (business, application, data and/or technology architecture)
• Experience working in organisations with evolving digital landscapes and multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, APIs, integration patterns, microservices and modern application architectures
• Experience contributing to portfolio planning, capability development and technology roadmaps
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean ways of working and enterprise delivery environments
• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling and repository tooling (e.g. LeanIX)
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and practical levels
