In menswear bottoms, strong buying decisions directly shape the collection: fit, fabric, wash, construction, cost price, supplier allocation, quality, timing and margin all need to line up. Knitwear is a category where detail is everything. Sweaters, cardigans, pullovers, knitted polos and related knit styles need to deliver on look, comfort, quality and commercial relevance. That takes disciplined fashion buying, strong supplier allocation, clear costing, risk management and close control of the critical path from first sample to final delivery. Why this role mattersThis is where buying, supplier execution and commercial control turn product into business impact. As our Buyer Knitwear, you take ownership of the buying process for assigned Knitwear styles, through supplier allocation, sourcing , sample follow-up, costing and final delivery. You work closely with Product Development, Sales, Merchandising, CR Q and Logistics to make sure the product is commercially viable, well executed and delivered on time. You challenge cost prices, protect margins, manage supplier performance, monitor the critical path and keep risks visible before they turn into delivery or quality issues.
