Treasurer wanted for GOUDasfalt The GOUDasfalt Foundation is looking for a reliable and collaborative Treasurer to strengthen our board. About GOUDasfalt GOUDasfalt is a vibrant citizen initiative on the IJssel River in Gouda-a place where creativity, entrepreneurship, culture, and sustainability intersect. With events, circular businesses, workshops, restaurants, and space for experimentation, the area is alive. We believe in doing, learning, and sharing-and we want to share this energy. The GOUDasfalt Foundation is the driving force behind the development and operation of the area. We connect volunteers, entrepreneurs, financiers, and social partners to create space for small-scale, artisanal, and sustainable initiatives. With approximately 175 volunteers, we are building a creative incubator that adds value to Gouda and the surrounding area. Your role as Treasurer As Treasurer, you are responsible for the foundation's financial affairs. You ensure that we remain financially sound and that all income and expenditure are properly managed. Together with the other board members, you will work on the strategic development of GOUDasfalt and contribute to decisions that are important for our future. You will • manage income (e.g., rent, event fees, subsidies, donations) and expenses (e.g., lease, insurance, energy, maintenance) • prepare and monitor the budget; • contributes to financial strategy and long-term plans • contributes to strategic decisions and developments • collaborates with the other board members, volunteers, and external partners Who we're looking for We are looking for someone who: • has an affinity with our mission and goals • has a financial background or experience with accounting/administration • has management experience or interest • is a strong communicator: bringing people, organizations, and ideas together • can contribute strategically and is not afraid to make decisions • is available for a few hours per we...
