This experience ensures you will later be better equipped as an operator to handle situations on the shop floor and quickly recognize and solve problems. Once you become a process operator, this foundational knowledge gives you a good overview of the entire process. You will be able to operate and monitor installations and machines, support colleagues where needed, and contribute to an efficient and safe production process. You start your working day with a walkthrough of the production area and a check of the planning. You discuss the daily tasks with your colleagues and make sure all machines are ready for use. Throughout the day, you switch between different production steps, monitor progress, and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You also learn to spot any issues quickly and work together with your team to solve them.
