Technician

HGV Technician Location: Croydon Role: HGV Technician Location: Croydon, CR0 4YL Hours: 45 hours per week | between 07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday Salary: between £45,442.80 - £50,310 pa DOE What you'll do: • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chassis and mounted equipment • Service vehicles in line with DVSA/VOSA standards and prepare for MOT inspections • Complete body and chassis repairs in line with Department for Transport requirements • Maintain accurate service records and update job details on company systems • Engage with customers professionally when working on-site • Ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety, and company standards • Follow health & safety procedures and carry out risk assessments where required • Continue developing technical skills through training and upskilling What you'll bring: • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance • Experience in commercial vehicle or HGV repair and servicing • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills • Understanding of vehicle electrics, hydraulics, and wiring diagrams • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach • Ability to organise your work and manage time effectively • Flexibility to travel and support overtime when required If you're looking to apply your skills in a role where quality, safety and customer service matter, we'd love to hear from you!
