System Architect

Integrated Mechanization Solutions B.V. System Architect For the System Architect vacancy in our Sales department, we are looking for a technical expert with the necessary commercial affinity. You will work closely with the Sales Managers and take responsibility for the technical content within the commercial process. You will analyze a customer's request and assess the technical complexity and risks. Additionally, you will develop innovative machine concepts, which you translate into commercially attractive proposals. You will convince the customer with your technical proposals and gain their trust through your expertise and thorough understanding of the subject matter. Almelo € 6.000 - € 8.000 Icon Education University+ 5 years+ What you'll be doing To map out customer requirements, you will engage in discussions with the customer, together with our Sales Managers. You contribute to defining the scope and analyzing the risks. Subsequently, you translate the technical customer requests, ranging from process studies to a complete and complex machine, into a commercially viable and technically sound concept. In doing so, you also prepare the calculations, without losing sight of the customer's budget. Once an order has been placed, you are responsible for handing over the project to the project team within IMS. Throughout the entire realization of the project, you remain a sparring partner for our engineers and maintain a critical perspective on the concept to ensure that the machine is built within the defined scope and the agreed-upon customer expectations. You bring • University-level working and thinking skills (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics) • At least 5 years of work experience analyzing and translating complex customer automation needs into technical proposals • International experience is a plus • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in German is a plus • Analytical, results-oriented, good communication skills • Willingness to travel frequently (10 - 30% of your time) We offer • Attractive gross salary of €6,000 - €8,000 per month (depending on your knowledge and experience), based on full-time employment • 32 - 40-hour work week • 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Engineering CLA • Phone and laptop • Encouragement of your development • Participation in sports outings and company fitness • An enthusiastic and active employee association • A great team you can rely on • A company canteen available at low cost Your work as a System Architect In long-term sales processes, you act as a technical sparring partner for both our Sales Managers and our clients. You combine technical, commercial, and strategic insight within a single role. Every day, you work on innovative and challenging projects with great technical depth. As a System Architect, you are part of the Sales Team, and internally within IMS, we use the term Technical Sales Manager for this position. In your role, you collaborate with the other Technical Sales Managers and Sales Managers. You also work closely with the IMS Manager and the Sales/Management Assistant.
