Swimming Instructor / Parttime Swimming Instructor / Parttime Swimming Instructor at Special Sports Amstelveen Job Description: Special Sports is looking for a Kids Swimming Instructor who will be responsible for safely and effectively teaching children of different ages and skill levels. The main task is to teach children how to swim in a way that is both fun and educational. The Swimming Instructor creates a positive, stimulating learning environment in which children feel comfortable and build confidence in their swimming skills. Your Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to explain teaching materials and swimming techniques in a clear and accessible way. Good observation skills to assess student progress and provide appropriate feedback. Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate lessons effectively. Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of individual learners. Personal traits: Patient and friendly when dealing with children. Excited and motivated to help kids improve their swimming skills. Reliable and responsible, with a strong focus on safety. Positive and able to create a stimulating learning environment. Other requirements: Willingness to work at different times, including evenings and weekends. Employable in case of illness or leave of colleagues. Willingness to carry out any additional work. Your experience: • Experience in giving (swimming) lessons to children of different ages and levels, including ABC swimming lessons and skills or the desire to follow an internal training. • Experience with snorkeling (NRZ) and working with special children is a plus. • Experience in supervising colleagues in training is an advantage.
