Swimming instructor • 10 - 32 hours per week • 2,903 - €3,665 Our De Meerkamp swimming pool fulfills a social role in promoting swimming proficiency, recreational swimming, various target groups, baby and toddler swimming, and various (swimming) clubs. As a swimming instructor, you'll make a valuable contribution to this. This is your job As a swimming instructor, you'll teach children and adults, focusing on personalized attention and differentiation. You'll teach swimming diplomas A, B, and C using the latest NPZ/NRZ methods and also administer diploma swimming tests. You'll carefully monitor students' progress in our student monitoring system, keeping parents well-informed about their child's development. We schedule a fifteen-minute break between lessons, allowing you to provide a smooth handover to parents and prepare for the next lesson. Additional duties, such as teaching aqua sports lessons, various target group lessons, and supervising recreational swimming, may also be part of your job. This is your input For this position, it is important that you can guide our students in a motivating and enthusiastic way, so that they receive their diploma with pride. You are a certified swimming instructor (NBZ, ROC, ALO, or CIOS) and hold certificates in lifesaving swimming and first aid, including CPR, or are willing to obtain them soon. You value quality in your work and are passionate about your profession. You're flexible between tasks, engaging, and easy to interact with. Whether they're guests or colleagues, your open and friendly demeanor is a familiar presence. We also appreciate a good sense of humor! You don't mind working alternately during the day, in the evenings and on weekends. If you're still training to become a swimming instructor or are planning to start training, we can guide you through the process, and internship hours are also an option. In terms of employment conditions, you fall under the Collective Labor Agreement for Swimming Pools and are classified in scale 6, with a salary between €2,903.93 and €3,665.84 gross per month based on a full-time, 38-hour workweek. You'll receive 8% holiday allowance, a 3% year-end bonus, a 25% allowance for working Saturdays and Sundays, a travel allowance, and 27 days of vacation per year.
