What will you do?
During your internship, you will be involved in testing and validating various 3D scanners used for designing assistive devices. You will be actively engaged in preparing and conducting technical and user tests.
Your duties will include: - Develop validation plan - You will set up a test for technical and practical evaluations. - Testing of 3D scanners - You perform accuracy and repeatability tests with multiple 3D scanners. - Data Analysis - You analyse and compare test results to objectively assess technical quality. You compile this information into an advisory report. - User testing - You will support and be involved in preparing and shaping the practical tests with healthcare professionals. - Supporting the R&D team - You will assist the team with tasks across various areas.
What do we ask of you?
- You are following a higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) course in the field of (medical) product development, for example Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a similar study. - You have a pragmatic attitude and dare to make a plan independently. - You have an affinity for 3D techniques such as 3D printing, 3D scanning and CAD modelling. - You have the drive to try, test and improve things. - You are available for at least 10 weeks from September.
