Service Technician E&I Industry

We are looking for a Service Technician E&I Industry In this role, you ensure the safe and reliable operation of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems. You work on-site at client locations on maintenance, service, and modification projects, ranging from short tasks to long-term assign. You perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, carry out inspections, and act as a technical advisor. Most assignments currently focus on electrotechnical systems, but some mechanical work is also part of the portfolio. Customers operate in sectors such as Chemicals, Pharma, Food, and Energy, which ensures exposure to a wide range of technical complexity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ■ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on E&I systems ■ Diagnose faults, execute repairs, replacements, commissioning, and adjustments ■ Install, inspect, and verify control equipment, switchgear, and instrumentation (incl. calibration) ■ Carry out service work per maintenance plans; inspect subcontractor work ■ Participate in 24/7 standby and breakdown services ■ Document work, ensure safety and quality, communicate with customers ■ Support improvements, small projects, and collaborate/coach colleagues. REQUIREMENTS ■ NEN3140 and VCA, or willingness to obtain certificates ■ Willing to learn Dutch short term ■ signal improvement opportunities ■ Knowledge of measurement and control technology+software systems ■ Living in/willing to permanently relocate to the Amsterdam region ■ At least 3+ years of experience in E&I maintenance in the industry, working independently.
