• What we do • Back • Survey UXO ID & clearance Cable repair & installation IRM, construction & decommissioning Vacancy Senior Tender Manager - Survey, UXO & IRM Posted on As a Senior Tender Manager at N-Sea, you play a pivotal role in securing new business and shaping the commercial success of our projects across Survey, UXO and IRM service lines. You lead the end-to-end tendering process, from opportunity evaluation through to submission and negotiation, ensuring high-quality, competitive and risk-balanced proposals. You act as the central coordinator between commercial, operational and technical teams, driving alignment and ensuring that client requirements are translated into executable, winning solutions. Key responsibilities • Lead and take full ownership of complex, high-value tenders. • Manage the full tender life cycle: qualification, strategy development, execution, submission and negotiation together with our Commercial teams. • Help to define winning bid strategies, pricing approaches and commercial positioning. • Translate customer Scope of Work into clear execution strategies and cost structures. • Identify, assess and manage commercial, technical and contractual risks. • Coordinate and align input from (amongst others) engineering, operations, legal, procurement, HSEQ and finance. • Lead client interactions during the tender phase, including clarifications and negotiations. • Drive RFQ processes and evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals. • Prepare and present tender reviews and key decision points to senior management. • Ensure effective handover to Project Management, supporting a smooth transition into execution. • Mentor and coach tender team members and contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes. Qualifications • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of tendering and contracting. • Proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary tender processes. • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach. • Confident decision-maker, able to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels. • Excellent organisational and coordination skills across multiple workstreams. • Clear and persuasive communicator, both internally and externally. • High level of ownership, accountability and resilience under pressure. Requirements • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Technical Business Administration. • Extensive experience in tendering, project management or commercial roles in the offshore or subsea industry. • Strong knowledge of Survey, IRM and/or UXO operations is highly desirable. • Experience with contract forms (e.g. LOGIC, FIDIC) and commercial frameworks. • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tendering tools and systems. • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages are seen as beneficial.
