As a Senior Safety Engineer - Permitting & Environmental (Dutch speaking), you will play a key role in delivering this integrated approach. You will work at the interface of engineering and regulation, helping our client navigate complex permitting landscapes while enabling efficient, compliant, and sustainable project delivery. - Lead regulatory compliance, permitting and environmental activities across multidisciplinary engineering projects - Integrate permitting requirements into early design phases (concept, FEED, detailed design) to avoid late-stage risks - Manage and coordinate Dutch environmental permitting processes, including authority engagement. Furthermore, you will provide expertise on: - Environmental regulations and compliance - Emissions to air, soil, and water - EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) deliverables - BAT/BREF and regulatory frameworks - Act as the key interface between engineering teams, clients, and regulatory authorities - Identify permitting risks early and implement practical, cost-effecti...
