Senior Modeller (Lead)

As a Senior Modeller (Lead), you will provide technical leadership within the Modelling Department, act as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders, and play a key role in developing both modelling capabilities and team members. You will take ownership of developing and enhancing core actuarial models. Smarter together, we call it. What are you going to do? The Modelling Department is a team of 11 professionals who play a critical role in shaping the company's model landscape. The team designs and maintains models across the full balance sheet, including asset modelling, insurance liability & actuarial modelling and reinsurance transaction modelling. Our work underpins key financial decisions and reporting and ensures robust risk management and compliance. You will: - Represent modelling team and provide advice to stakeholders in shaping modelling decision-making (e.g. reporting team related to Solvency II (SII), IFRS 17, Solvency UK) - Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects with strategic impact of internal and external developments, including e.g. IT, Commerce, Finance Actuarial & Capital management - Initiates and creates innovative solutions within an Athora-wide context and oversees their implementation and compliance.
