Senior External Communications Specialist (Temp)

Are you an experienced communications professional who thrives in periods of transformation? We are looking for a hands-on Senior External Communications Specialist to support a high-profile corporate transition within an international organization. In this temp role, you will play a key part in executing the external rollout of a new corporate identity, coordinating brand activation across digital and physical channels, and managing agencies to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic communications around a major corporate evolution while keeping day-to-day external communications running smoothly. We are looking for someone with a strong background in external communications, brand rollouts, marketing communications, and agency management. Experience with rebranding projects, mergers, acquisitions, or corporate spin-offs is a strong advantage. You are comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, confidential environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior communications professional who enjoys driving visible change in an international setting and is happy to combine strategic responsibility with operational delivery.   Purpose of the role: Provide interim external communications support through the transition driving the external rollout of the new corporate identity and flexing to broader external communications as needed. • Coordinate brand rollout execution: website build, visual identity application, signage, templates and collateral; • Manage design, web and production agencies/vendors and hold the line on brand consistency; • Support external announcement communications around the spin, working with the PR agency and External Communications Manager; • Own launch assets and timelines through to go-live; • Provide general external comms support to the External Communications Manager as required. • Senior, hands-on communications operators comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-moving transaction environment; • Available for a temp engagement to April and comfortable with confidentiality; • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management; able to flex across priorities; • External communications background, including brand activation, brand rollout and marketing. • Start: ASAP; • Initial contract until april the 30th, 2027; • Full-time (40 hours per week); • Location: Amsterdam; • Salary indication (gross per month): €10,000; • Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and fully eligible to work here (no relocation or visa sponsorship possible).
