This is a contractor role based in Rotterdam, specialising in mechanical packages within the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in procuring materials, equipment, and services essential for project and operations execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Functieomschrijving As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and leading procurement plans aligned with project requirements. You will source and evaluate suppliers in accordance with strategic sourcing frameworks, negotiate contracts and commercial terms, and manage purchase orders to support project delivery. Your expertise will contribute to cost control, compliance with industry regulations, and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will mentor a team of buyers, providing guidance and support to optimise procurement activities.
