You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable backend solutions and microservices that power the next generation of e-commerce. You will contribute to new payment flows, onboarding and compliance solutions, API development, and the continuous scaling of business-critical systems. Working within an experienced Scrum team, you will play a key role in architecture, performance, reliability, and security while contributing both strategically and hands-on. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Backend Developer; • Bachelor's or Master's degree level (or equivalent working/thinking level); • Strong expertise in PHP and MySQL; • Experience with Laravel or Symfony, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and microservices; • Experience building and maintaining high-traffic, scalable platforms; • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; • Currently based in the Netherlands.
