As a diaconal worker, you are a professional connector and bring people together. You are at the centre of the Teylingen municipality and integrate into our faith communities. - Networking & signalling: You are the 'eyes and ears' in our 3 villages for people who fall between the cracks; you liaise with social (aid) organisations and surrounding churches. - Practical help & meeting: You will organise activities to connect people with each other - Inspiration: You encourage the congregation's diaconal vocation and share stories about the work, for example after the church service. Who are you? - Liaison: You connect easily, you are a networker and can work well with professionals (such as our own pastors) and volunteers - Proactive & energetic: You think outside the box and work purposefully to build new initiatives - Beliefs: You work from an open Christian inspiration and know how to enthuse others with it - Familiar with the street: You have experience in the field and do not hesitate to approach people - Education: You have a relevant education (e.g. HBO Theology/GPW or at least MBO-4 Social Work).
