RF Test Infrastructure Engineer QuantWare
Other Engineering
Delft, Netherlands
QuantWare is building the world's most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors.
With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don't shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That's where you come in!
As an RF Test Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the bridge between our R&D innovations and proven, reliable, hyper-scaled hardware. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on lab role. You won't just be running routine tests, you will be designing, building, and commissioning the room-temperature (RT) and cryogenic measurement infrastructure required to validate high-density QPUs.
By implementing automated switching matrices and optimizing high-throughput signal lines, your work will directly eliminate the characterization bottleneck, allowing us to de-risk new technologies and scale toward increasingly complex quantum systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities -
Test & Validate Devices: Plan and execute RF and DC test campaigns for VIO™ devices and test vehicles, verifying performance against specifications. -
Build & Scale Measurement Infrastructure: Bring up, install, operate, and maintain room-temperature and cryogenic measurement setups, scaling them as R&D needs grow. -
Investigate & Resolve Anomalies: Diagnose test failures, trace root causes, and feed findings back into device and process improvements. -
Document & Track: Document setups and track process parameters across R&D cycles to build a reusable knowledge base.
Collaboration & Ownership -
Work with a highly interdisciplinary R&D team to al...
