For a leading chemical company in Zwijndrecht, we are immediately seeking a Lab Formulation Scientist for a 6-month maternity cover. what we offer • Salary between €2,944-€3,500 based on 37.5 hours • Temporary 6-month position • 37,5 hours a week • Working in Zwijndrecht • R&D Lab Technician • Working with a wonderful team who are you You are an accurate team player with a 'can-do' mentality. You have a sharp eye for safety and procedures, and possess excellent communication skills. • You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field • You have 2 to 8 years of demonstrable experience with formulation, raw materials, etc • You are fluent in both written and spoken Englisch • You are fluent in both wirtten and spoken Dutch • You have an affinity with the cosmetics industry what will you do As a Formulation Scientist, you will strengthen the technical support team for the EMEA region. Under the guidance of a Senior Scientist, you will support and optimize the formulation process. Your focus will be specifically on the hair care category (such as shampoos, conditioners, gels, and emulsions). • Formulating new prototypes and screening raw materials • Monitoring ans testing quality • Producing and shipping prototypes • Writing reports and delivering presentations • Contributing to the daily maintenance of the lab where will you work You will be working at a beautiful research location in Zwijndrecht. You will join an internationally oriented R&D team that focuses entirely on the consumer market.
