As an intern in the Research and Development Department in the Hive, your ideas will drive impact, and your creativity will take center stage.
The team will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills in food biotechnology, project management, and collaboration within a diverse, multidisciplinary environment, while gaining hands-on laboratory experience, enhancing your research and analytical skills, and contributing to innovation and sustainability projects

Conduct literature, patent, and product reviews.
•
Perform experimental work on formulation optimization.
•
Develop methods for accelerated shelf-life studies.
•
Characterize products for sensory-related advice.
•
Design recipes and develop ingredients for market trends.
•
Collaborate with team members on various projects.
•
Support communication strategies and provide scientific evidence.
•
Participate in agile project management and regular meetings.
•
Gain hands-on experience in product formulation and processing.
•
Contribute to innovation and sustainability projects.
You're the perfect fit if:
•
You're available for 5 to 6 months starting August-September2026 (minimum 32 hours/week).
•
You are enrolled (3rd or 4th year) in a Bachelor or Master program in Food Science/Technology, Food Physics, or Material Science.
•
You are curious, a fast-learner, and can work independently in a lab.
•
You are skilled in literature research, experimental design, lab skills, data analysis, and scientific writing.
•
You are eager to learn and apply new knowledge with expert consultation.
•
You have good communication skills and can collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•
You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
You can plan and execute experiments independently and think critically.
