You will be working at a recycling company in Sint Nicolaasga that focuses on food waste from the food industry. Both packaged and unpackaged products are collected and processed for use as animal feed, compost, or biogas. The company offers a practical and reliable working environment with a focus on sustainability. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? In this job, you will work with expired food products that need to be unpacked and sorted. The products can vary from vegetables to drinks like energy drinks or beer. You will place the unpacked food into large tanks, where it will later be processed into biogas. In addition, you will help separate carton packaging and operate machines that compress it for recycling. Tasks include: - Unpacking different types of expired food products - Placing food waste into large processing tanks - Separating carton packaging from other materials - Operating machines to compress carton for recycling YOUR PROFILE - Communicative Polish or communicative English language knowledge - Experience with forklift driving is an advantage - Motivation - Since you will be working with expired food products, you should be aware that the environment can sometimes have strong smells.
