R&D Mechanical Engineer

R&D Mechanical Engineer Ecolab Oegstgeest, Netherlands This role will lead hardware design and development innovation projects for our Data Center portfolio, communicate regularly with the field/customers/business leaders, design/test/implement new hardware design, and ensure a robust pipeline for new products and platforms that help our customers solve complex hardware problems. We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical background, who is 'hands-on', ideally with practical field application experience, who is self-motivated, enjoys versatility and work across different topics and projects, has a desire for collaboration and is a creative problem solver. The main responsibilities of the role are to: - Manage and drive projects that deliver unique data centre hardware solutions. - Support design and testing of water treatment/monitoring systems for Data Center and Microelectronics customers. - Design, test and validate equipment (both in lab and field) ensuring compliance with reliability, acoustics, power and thermals. - Develop solutions to complex research problems requiring creativity and ingenuity. - Ensure protection of Nalco Water intellectual property through patenting, licensing, and joint development agreements. - Collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team of sales leaders, researchers, industry technical consultants, functional business partners, and OEM partners to develop new ideas that s...
