We are Thermaflex, based in Waalwijk, an international company with a down-to-earth Brabant culture. From our factory we produce smart insulation solutions that are used worldwide in homes, hospitals, offices and industry. We're active in more than 45 countries, but you'll still get your own coffee from the machine. Quality is in our DNA - our products are used every day in a wide range of infrastructure and construction projects. To further strengthen our quality standards, we're looking for a QA Engineer who will be the driving force behind that. How will you make an impact? As QA Engineer, you're responsible for quality management within our organisation. You maintain and develop our quality system, oversee product and organisational certifications, and translate laws and regulations into practical implementation. You work as a staff member reporting directly to management and lead the QC employee. How you do that? ● You manage, maintain and improve our quality management system. ● You coordinate and guide product and organisational certifications, such as ISO, KOMO, KIWA or comparable standards. ● You prepare for, guide and follow up on internal and external audits. ● You identify deviations, carry out root cause analyses and initiate improvement measures. ● You translate updated standards, laws and regulations into processes and procedures. ● You analyse quality data and report on it to management. ● You advise management and departments on quality issues and continuous improvement. ● You lead the QC employee and ensure good collaboration between QA and production. ● You work with R&D on standardisation for new developments. ● You work with suppliers, certification bodies and customers on quality matters. What makes you our new colleague? You're someone who moves easily between the shop floor and management. You like to organise things well, take initiative, and know how to bring colleagues along in quality improvements. You're analytical, a strong communicator, and feel at home in a production environment. Do you recognise yourself here? ● You hold a completed bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, Plastics Technology, Quality Management or a related field. ● You have several years of experience in a QA role within a production environment. ● You have experience with quality management systems and certifications. ● You have knowledge of audit processes and relevant standards. ● You have leadership qualities or the ambition to manage a small team. ● You have a pragmatic, results-driven and independent way of working. ● You have a good command of Dutch and English.
