In this role, you apply your knowledge of manufacturability and assembly processes to ensure product quality. You work closely with a team to realize new products and are responsible for assembling systems, often without detailed work instructions. Throughout this process, you play a key role as a mechanical technician, contributing to a wide range of mechatronic products. What excites you as a Proto Technician - Mechanics? From our assembly facility in Eindhoven, you like to: - Assemble and adjust mechatronic modules and systems. - Test modules and complete machines. - Troubleshoot problems in the assembly process. - Modify components using machining equipment (eg CNC). - Identify and propose process and product improvements. - Be involved as a Prototype Mechanical Technician from the earliest product design phases and providing valuable technical input. Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table - A completed MBO (vocational) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. - A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. - Experience with precision mechanics and mechatronics as applied in high-tech instruments and equipment. - Experience in assembling, installing, adjusting, and testing mechatronic systems or modules, preferably in prototype machine building. - Experience reading mechanical engineering drawings, preferably created in NX, in...
