In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment and services required for the successful execution of Allseas' offshore construction and capital projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Package Leads and suppliers, you will ensure that goods and services are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with project requirements. The role suits a professional who is comfortable with: - Supplier negotiations - Project procurement - Stakeholder management Unit Scope Discipline Description Job Description As a Projects Buyer, you act as the link between project teams and suppliers, ensuring that procurement activities are carried out efficiently and in line with project schedules, technical requirements and commercial objectives. Working in a fast-paced environment, you are able to manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on delivery performance, quality and cost control. What are the main tasks of the Projects Buyer? - Liaise with Project Management, Engineers and other internal stakeholders to determine procurement requirements; - Manage, monitor and process purchase order administration for assigned projects; - Review internal requisitions and verify technical, commercial and contractual requirements; - Issue RFQs and RFPs to suppliers and subcontractors; - Evaluate quotations and prepare bid comparison sheets and award recommendations; - Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and delivery schedules; - Place purchase orders in accordance with company procedures and standards; - Expedite orders and ensure timely delivery of goods, services, documenta...
