At Flikweert Vision, we are looking for a Project Manager to oversee cross-departmental projects that are important for our continued growth. About Flikweert Vision Flikweert Vision develops advanced optical sorting machines for potatoes and onions. Our machines combine Vision, Software, AI, Mechanics, and Electrical Engineering to make optical sorting easier, faster, and more efficient. From Zeeland, we build innovative solutions for the international agri-food sector with a young, driven team. What will you do? As Project Lead, you will be assigned to larger projects from the Portfolio Management Consultation that often affect multiple departments. You will be responsible for monitoring the process and ensuring that the project is executed successfully from start to finish. You gather information from initiators and stakeholders, bring structure, draw up project plans, and monitor deadlines, actions, decisions, risks, and dependencies. In doing so, you remain impartial: you do not only look from one discipline, but you monitor the bigger picture and the interests of the project. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a robust, experienced Project Manager with natural authority. Someone who brings structure, asks incisive questions, and addresses people clearly and pleasantly regarding agreements and responsibilities. You are strong communicatively, even when discussions become difficult. You know how to create buy-in, but you also dare to set boundaries. You maintain an overview in an environment where a lot of information, ideas, and interests converge. Furthermore, you are independent, proactive, and capable of energetically managing projects without a formal hierarchical position. You bring • A minimum of 10 years of work experience, of which at least 5 years of demonstrable project management experience. • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary or cross-departmental projects. • HBO work and thinking level. • A proactive approach to identifying, following up on, and escalating. • Experience with Jira and/or similar project management tools is an advantage.
