Our client is a world leader in heavy cargo transport. Operating a fleet of 25 state of the art heavy lift and heavy transport vessels, complex cargo operations in heavy lift, heavy transport or offshore supply are day-to-day business. Two newbuild heavy transport vessels will come into service in 2026, expanding their fleet and their operations. They provide an extensive range of engineered solutions in various industries worldwide, in close cooperation with their customers and they value a long-term relation with their customers and partners. Together with their clients they resolve their transportation requirements. That is why our client continuously invests in developing office staff and new build vessels. Our client is currently looking for a Project Engineer to play a crucial role in preparations of marine transport and heavy lift operations and execution worldwide. If you are specialist on hydrodynamics with experience in offshore installation and DP, willing to travel internationally and not afraid to take responsibility for the safe execution of projects. What will you be doing: As a Project Engineer, you will take projects from concept to completion. You will be primarily based in the office but if required, you will also support the project on site worldwide. You will work closely with experienced colleagues from engineering and operations, developing safe and innovative solutions for unique transport and installation challenges. Your work includes: - Preparing and executing marine heavy transport projects. - Performing hydrostatic, hydrodynamic and mooring analysis. - Preparing ballasting plans for loading and discharge operations. - Designing project-specific support systems, grillage and seafastenings, and coordinating subcontracted steel work from fa...
