Working at Bock Maritiem
Project Coordinator Process Optimization
Interim or permanent appointment
16-40 hours a week
Do you want to make an organization work smarter instead of harder?
Then we are looking for you!
We are looking for a Project Coordinator who thrives on creating structure, improving processes, and helping colleagues work more efficiently. Not by becoming part of the daily operations yourself, but rather by better organizing the operations. You work not in the operation , but precisely to the operation .
You engage in discussions with colleagues, map out work processes, identify where time is being lost, and ensure that our systems are configured optimally. Your work ensures that colleagues spend less time on manual work and have more time left for what they are really good at.
Whether you want to work as an interim professional or are looking for a permanent job: both possibilities are open.
What are you going to do?
As Project Coordinator You are the connecting link between the various departments. You take a fresh look at how we work and how things can be done smarter, so that we make even better use of the systems we already have.
Your responsibilities include:
• Mapping the core processes of all departments by collaborating intensively with colleagues.
• Analyzing bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Optimizing existing work processes.
• Maximizing the use of our existing software and the connections between systems.
• Guiding improvement projects and implementing new working methods.
• Investigating which management and monthly reports can be further automated.
• Establishing consultation structures and responsibilities so that knowledge is properly safeguarded within the organization.
• Bringing colleagues along in changes and ensuring support.
So you are not the one who performs the daily operational tasks, but the one who ensures that the operation gets a little better every day, and that certainly puts a smile on your colleagues' faces!
Who are we looking for?
You are someone who naturally sees where processes can be made smarter. You ask the right questions, listen well, and know how to enthusiastically bring colleagues along in improvements.
In addition, you have:
• HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience with process optimization, project coordination, or change management.
• Affinity with automation and business processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• A structured and analytical way of working.
• Perseverance and the ability to connect different interests.
• Because you speak with or email Dutch colleagues daily, a good knowledge of the Dutch language is a must.
• English is the working language on board our ships; therefore, a good command of spoken and written English is also very important.
Interim or permanent position
This position has been deliberately designed to be flexible.
Are you an independent professional or interim project manager? Then you can carry out this assignment for approximately 2 to 3 days per week .
Are you looking for a permanent job? Then a full-time employment also possible. Upon completion of the process optimization project, there are ample opportunities to take the next step within our organization in an operational or coordinating role.
What do we offer?
• A role where you make a real impact on the entire organization.
• A lot of freedom to suggest and implement improvements.
• An organization that is open to change.
• Flexible scheduling of hours (16-40 hours).
• Opportunity to work both on an interim and as an employee.
• Room for personal initiative and development.
• Market-competitive employment conditions commensurate with experience and the nature of the position.
Do you see opportunities everywhere to work smarter?
Then we would love to get to know you, because this is not a standard project role. You lay the foundation for how our organization works in the future.
Don't just tell us what you have done, but especially which processes you have already made smarter. We are curious about your approach.
We are ready, and because we can't wait, we would like you to start with us as soon as possible.
