Production Process Technologist
Do you always spot opportunities to improve production processes, combining analytical skills with solution-oriented creativity? Do you have solid knowledge of production technologies and product properties, along with strong communication skills? Then help us create even greater impact in the world of microbiology and health.
Your role
You will be part of the Technical Product Development team. Within this team, you will work on improving, scaling up and technically safeguarding our products and production processes. As a Production Process Technologist, you optimise processes with the aim of achieving sustainable, efficient and high-quality production.
This mainly concerns powder products, but also oils, capsules and other dosage forms, both in our own factory and with contract manufacturing partners. You identify new technologies, equipment and ingredients, and you are given the opportunity to bring technical improvements - from idea to practical implementation - into the production environment.
In doing so, you directly contribute to robust processes, consistent product quality and scalable production. You will work closely with other teams within Winclove, such as Strategic Procurement, Production, and Quality Assurance & Control.
Your key responsibilities
• Identifying and defining technological needs and opportunities for improvement in the production processes of our food supplements, both in our own factory and at contract manufacturing partners.
• Acting as a troubleshooter for technical issues in our factory and during the implementation of new equipment or process steps.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, for example on scaling up new products from prototype to commercial production.
• Preparing technical reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and translating optimisation efforts into clear instructions and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Implementing improvement proposals (process, best practices, behaviour).
• Initiating, planning and leading projects.
What do we ask of you?
You have strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You have a clear vision on production process innovation and are skilled in stakeholder management and decision-making. You are able to connect scientific depth with industrial scalability. You work independently and take initiative.
In addition, you have:
• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a production process technologist or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GFSI standards.
• Knowledge of the physical properties of (blending) powders.
• Knowledge of microbiology.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with a pragmatic approach.
• Experience with batch production.
• Experience in project management.
