Then this Production Engineer position at BKL could be the perfect next step for you. As a Production Engineer, you are the link between engineering and production. You ensure that designs are translated into a manufacturable product structure and an efficient assembly process. In this role, you play an important part in New Product Introduction (NPI), optimizing existing production processes, and safeguarding quality and manufacturability. Your responsibilities - Set up and maintain the Manufacturing BOM and product structures in the ERP system. - Translate engineering data into efficient manufacturing and assembly steps. - Support NPI projects and guide prototype and serial production. - Optimize and safeguard production and assembly processes. - Prepare assembly instructions, control plans, and tools. - Review and implement product and process changes. - Act as a troubleshooter in case of technical disruptions. - Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Sales, and Supply Chain. What do you bring? - A completed Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in production engineering, process engineering, or work preparation. - Experience with ERP and PLM systems. - Knowledge of production processes, materials, and manufacturability. - Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset. - Good command of Dutch and English.
