As a Production Engineer you are responsible for: - Oversee daily production operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes, providing technical support to resolve issues, minimizing downtime, and coordinating with operators, technicians, and managers to maintain workflow and team performance. - Drive process optimization and continuous improvement by analyzing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness, and implementing best practices such as Lean Manufacturing (5S) and Six Sigma methodologies. - Maintain equipment reliability and product quality by ensuring machinery is properly maintained and calibrated, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software related issues, and collaborating with Quality Control and equipment engineering teams to address production and quality concerns. - Support team development and operational reporting by providing technical guidance, improving team capabilities, preparing skill matrices and development plans, maintaining accurate production records, and presenting daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management. - Manage resources, safety, and compliance by monitoring inventory levels and material availability, promoting adherence to safety regulations and policies, and implementing initiatives to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and support environmental sustainability.
