GID International B.V. is searching for procurement specialists to be engaged on a permanent, fulltime basis and willing to travel for short-term and medium-term assignments. GID is a worldwide operating procurement and purchasing firm -established in 1988- with its headquarters based in the Netherlands. GID has gained long-standing experience and worldwide reputation in the implementation of international public procurement in a broad variety of sectors. Major clients of GID include bi- and multilateral donor organizations and private sector clients, among which multinationals and international contracting companies. Activities can be divided as follows: • In the Netherlands or home-based: o procurement and purchasing activities; o preparation of proposals; and • Abroad: o project related procurement activities for donor funded projects. Language abilities: candidates have to be at least English speaking.
