PLC Software Engineer

What will you do? Make a Difference as a PLC Engineer As a PLC Software Engineer at Van Gooi, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems. You work independently on projects, from analysing functional requirements to testing and commissioning systems at customer locations, often in unique settings such as luxury private yachts in Monaco. You are given the freedom to apply your creativity and technical expertise and actively contribute to innovation within the team. Your daily focus includes: Designing and developing PLC programs according to the IEC 61131‑3 standard using Structured Text (ST) Working with CODESYS (object‑oriented programming), with the option to also program in Siemens TIA Portal Integrating industrial networks and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP Testing, debugging, and commissioning systems, both at the office and on‑site at customer locations Delivering technical documentation and performing maintenance activities to ensure reliability and continuity Contributing to innovation by researching new products and technologies What do you bring?
