Performance refers to the speed at which an information system processes both interactive and batch transactions. Performance Testing is an essential process that involves planning, preparing, executing and reviewing simulations of user activity on a process, system, application or Web site. We are looking for Performance Test Experts who have experience as technical test specialists and have a clear vision of performance testing. As a Performance Test Expert, you will work through Polteq on challenging performance test assignments at top-200 Dutch companies. We are the specialist in testing and software quality for a reason. What will you do? The role of IT in our daily lives is greater than ever: while continuous availability used to be only a requirement of security services, today even the average consumer is constantly dependent on available IT applications. Preventing service (IT) interruptions or minimizing response times is directly linked to national security, functioning of society and/or profitability of commercial organizations. As an experienced Performance Test Expert you are able to independently clarify performance requirements at our clients, prepare and execute performance tests, analyze the results of the tests and advise on the performance encountered. Experience in clarifying performance requirements, analyzing data, presenting conclusions and advising stakeholders Experience automating / scripting performance tests and with tools such as JMeter, NeoLoad, LoadRunnner and/or Gatling Experience with and knowledge of application (e.g. IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Microsoft IIS and/or Apache TomCat) and database servers (e.g. Microsoft SQL server, DB2, Oracle DB and/or MySQL) Knowledge of web services (API, SOAP) and XML and have experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Nagios In possession of a driver's license B and willing to travel As desired, work regionally or nationally in challenging assignments at Q42, PWC, Postcode Lottery, Talpa Networks, Thales, Jumbo, Municipality of Rotterdam or Menzis, among others Lots of room to develop yourself with unlimited training opportunities through our in-house Training Department Flexible mobility budget: choice of leased car or alternative transportation Interested in this position?
