Do you want to represent your voice and that of your colleagues? We are looking for members for sector boards and sector councils of each sector and for the General Assembly. The sector council elects the sector board members and delegates and alternate delegates of the General Assembly for a period of four years. The sector council members are elected by the members in the relevant district for a period of four years. The elections will take place in the spring of 2025. What does a member of the sector board do? • Organizing and designing the meetings of the sector council • Organize meetings for members in the area with colleagues • Representing the teacher/lecturer's voice in different places • Consulting with negotiators during a collective labor agreement process • Setting the agenda for matters that are important to colleagues in schools/educational institutions • Together with colleagues from the AOb set the guidelines for policy in the sector What are we asking? You can take union leave for meetings if necessary. It is a requirement for candidates to be a member of the AOb You must also be employed or active in the sector for which you are applying.
