Ibis budget Amsterdam City South is looking for an Operations Manager(m/f/d) Our hotel boasts 314 rooms, a breakfast restaurant, and a fantastic games room. We're centrally located between Amsterdam Buitenveldert and Amstelveen Stadshart, making us the ideal base for exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding area.  Amsterdam South is just a 10-minute tram ride away (which stops right in front of the hotel!).  Our hotel is also easily accessible by bike, and free parking is available.   What will you be doing as Operations Manager(m/f/d)?   As Operations Manager, no two days are the same! - You'll lead the Front Office team and work closely with the support departments, our external housekeeping team and colleagues in the regional office. You'll report to the General Manager. - Safety is your middle name: you ensure that everything in the operation is carried out safely and in a safe environment! Functie-eisen: Who are we looking for in this role? - Very important: You love guests and are very service-oriented - You're a true team player and enjoy taking responsibility - You can keep a cool head in a busy environment - You have at least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Amsterdam region - You're fluent in Dutch and English, and preferably another language - You love working with your team and coaching them to become confident hospitality stars - Experience with Opera Cloud is preferred. If not, you're a quick learner and like to explore a new PMS - You know how to prioritize and thus organize work effectively - You have the BHV and Social Responsibility certificates
