As Operations Engineer WTG, you will be part of our Operations & Maintenance team for the OranjeWind offshore wind farm. In this key role, you will ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of our wind turbin e generato rs (WTGs), acting as the technical interface between OranjeWind and the main WTG contractor. You will contribute directly to asset integrity, availability and performa nce optimisation , supporting RWE's goal to significantly expand its offshore wind portfolio and help advance the energy transition.
RWE is currently constructing the OranjeWind offshore wind farm in the Net herlands, 85 kilo metres of f the coast of Den Helder with a capacity of 795 MW. Featuring the latest high-tech Vestas V236 15 MW turbines, OranjeWind will deliver first power in 2027. For the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase, we will deploy a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) to ensure efficient offshore logistics.
About the role
In the role of Operations Engineer WTG, you will take responsibility for the technical and operational follow-up of the wind turbines within the offshore wind farm and ensure that contractual and technical requirements are met throughout the operational phase.
Your main responsibilities include:

Play a leading role in the handover process of the WTGs from construction to operations, including the management and follow ‑ up of punch lists

Act as the technical interface for managing the Service & Maintenance Agreement (SMA) with the WTG main contractor, including monitoring the contractor's performance and striving to improve service quality
