As a junior machining technician at EMHA, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues on extraordinary sites both in the Netherlands and abroad. With our extensive portable machine park, you'll produce precise metalwork in all different shapes and sizes. From surfacing valves in a lock to threading and machining a crane shaft-you'll learn the craft step by step in practice. Together with your team, you provide technical solutions that truly make a difference. What will you do? In other words: what does your working day look like? At EMHA, you don't work at a fixed location in a factory-you work everywhere. As an on-site machining technician, you'll machine metal on location: shipyards, bridge construction sites, and power plants, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Because many structures are too large or complex to move, we bring our machines to the site. Step by step, you'll learn mobile (circular) milling, boring, turning, (line) drilling, threading, and flange facing. First, you'll work with an experienced colleague, then you grow into an independent role. None days will be the same: sometimes you'll work in a team, other times you'll be the specialist on-site.
