THE POSITION As an Offshore Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of cranes on various offshore projects worldwide. Your tasks will include lifting operations on platforms, pontoons, and ships, drafting lifting plans, and performing maintenance and repairs on cranes. You will work closely with the deck crew and actively contribute to a safe and orderly work environment. YOUR IMPACT In this role, you ensure the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations at offshore locations. You contribute to the success of each project by making optimal use of your technical knowledge and experience. Additionally; - You have a keen eye for safety and maintenance and take a proactive role in identifying and resolving technical issues - Operating lifting cranes (100-1400 tons, including crawler and offshore cranes). - Drafting and executing lifting plans - Maintaining and repairing cranes, including hydraulic systems and hoisting wires. - Performing visual inspections and replacing components such as hoisting wires and oil. - Ensuring a safe working environment on and around the crane. - (De)mobilizing cranes for various projects.
