Without a board, there is no association; with a strong board, we can work together to help the KNVTS grow further. Our chairperson is proudly concluding their two-term tenure and, under the constitution, is not eligible for re-election. We are therefore looking for a new chairperson who wants to help shape the future of our association. Who are we looking for? Are you someone who: • Enjoys contributing ideas about the direction of the KNVTS. • Gets energy from collaborating with colleagues. • Considers sharing knowledge and experience important. Then now is the time to take the plunge! What does the chairperson do? As chairperson, you will work with the other board members to shape the activities, events and initiatives that make our association so valuable. Moreover, a board position offers a unique opportunity to expand your network, deepen your knowledge and make an active contribution to our wonderful maritime sector. We all know how easy it is to think: "Someone else will do it." But if no one takes up the challenge, an association loses its strength.
