Vacancy Mushroom grower (full time) Verhoeckx Mushrooms & Fruit is a family business located in Kerkdriel in the Bommelerwaard, a region known for the cultivation of these products. With over 50 years of experience, we have become a renowned cultivation and trading company in fresh mushrooms and hard fruit. Over the years we have grown into an efficient company with modern and partly automated processes. We respond to the wishes and requirements of buyers, consumers and developments in the market. By now we have expanded to a team of over 50 employees who work together daily to ensure the best end result. For our mushroom cultivation in Ammerzoden we are looking for a mushroom grower. In a team of +/- 30 people you will be responsible (together with 2 colleagues) for the following: Control and adjust the cultivation of mushrooms Related administrative tasks Managing the picking team Filling & emptying the mushroom cells Maintenance work We are looking for someone with the following characteristics: Active & flexible work attitude Command of the Dutch and (basic) English language Technically proficient, 2 right hands Interested in mushroom cultivation, experience is allowed, not necessary Willing to (alternately) perform necessary work on weekends In return, of course, a good salary and good working conditions.
