What are you going to do? You help people realise their dreams of home ownership. You don't do this with a standard sales pitch, but by really listening. You delve into the figures, but never lose sight of the person behind the file. You are an adviser, a confidant and a sparring partner all rolled into one. Who are we looking for? Work experience and the relevant qualifications (Wfts) are, of course, a must, but what we really look for when selecting candidates is DNA . • You're 'genuine': You're informal where you can be and professional where you need to be. • You're not a salesperson: You think in terms of solutions for the customer, not targets for the bank. • You have experience: You know the ropes when it comes to mortgages and can handle a case independently from start to finish. • You'll fit right in in the living room: You're approachable, speak in plain language and have a likeability factor that's second to none (although we prefer to say 'you' here).
