Over het werk A specialized medical technology organization is seeking a Medical Instrument Technician with a passion for precision engineering and fine mechanics. In this role, you will work on high-quality surgical instruments and play an important part in ensuring the reliability and performance of medical devices used in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of surgical instruments. Your work will be carried out in accordance with established quality standards and procedures, including ISO 13485, while also inspecting and evaluating surgical instruments in line with DIN 58298 requirements. In addition, you will contribute to the smooth operation and continuity of the workshop and actively participate in improving processes and working methods. In their extensive workshop (200 m²), our instrument makers handle the maintenance, repair, and modification of surgical instruments. Additionally, they specialize in applying silicone and stainless steel fixation to instrument trays and cassettes.
